in this Skill Building Workshop: Sewing Knits, we will cover the basics of sewing with knit fabric. using your own sewing machine, we will explore different stitch options, thread and needle selection, and necklines and hems. swatches of knit fabrics will be supplied for experimentation, and we’ll take notes and record machine settings to ensure future success while sewing with knits! materials are included in the course fee, and students will leave with one spool of woolly nylon thread and a stretch needle.

Skill Building Workshops are classes devoted to focusing on one technique, skill or construction method. students will leave with mastery of the techniques covered, and with a set of beautiful samples for future reference!
