awhile back i started making a black bear. after lots and lots of trial and error, i’ve finally completed him!
he’s made of cotton corduroy, with a wool felt snout, nose and ears. his sweater vest is wool as well, and he’s sporting a dapper little bow tie!
he has button joints so that he can sit or stand!

my intention is to make more bears and sell them, but this little guy is just a prototype. there are still a few little improvements that i’d like to make, and i’m trying out some other fabric options, like velvet and flannel. i’ll be posting some process/progress photos later this week!
