the top three books on this stack (how to make clothes that fit and flatter, the colette sewing handbook, and the vogue sewing book) have been guiding me through my adventures in dressmaking these past few weeks.  i’m so in love with the vogue sewing book, i just keep carrying it around with me from room to room, peeking at it whenever i get a second.
