canning again…

we’ve been hard at work again, turning tomatoes from the garden into salsa,…

canning peaches in vanilla syrup,…

and turning blueberries into blueberry and apple jam.

this is a very busy time of year!

(edit: the peaches and blueberry-apple jam recipes are both from Canning for a New Generation by Liana Krissoff.  So far I am loving this book!  Everything we’ve made, save our first batch of kosher dills, has turned out spectacularly.)
