i made the bee some mittens to go with her pixie hat.  she picked out the colors herself!

i was inspired by the color blocking of these mittens.  i started out using the wee mittens from vintage knits for modern babies pattern, but when i realized that they were knit flat and sewn together, i bailed.  i’ve knit tiny mittens in the round before, and all that seaming seemed unnecessary. so i used her pattern as a bit of a guide to get started and knit them in the round.  i’d like to try them again, as i think there’s room for improvement.  maybe i’ll even write up the pattern?
