after breakfast wednesday, the bee and i watched president obama’s victory speech online. i loved sharing the moment with her, even if she only appreciated the flags and the stevie wonder! afterward, the bee and i made a loaf of challah bread. the recipe is from the king arthur flour baking companion, from the chapter aptly entitled “celebration breads”. the bread turned out really really well, and we’ve already inhaled almost half of the large loaf!

i like mine with butter and homemade blueberry jam. yums!
