i’ve been sewing tons of stuff lately, mostly samples for my local fabric store.  like this (as yet unfinished) dress.  and these phone cases.  these things will eventually make their way back to me, but in the meantime i’ll have to go visit them in town.

before i jumped into sewing samples though, i made the bee a new summer hat.

i used the (free!) oliver & s reversible bucket hat pattern.

the bee loves it, especially since she hates it when the wind blows her hair!  yesterday we spent some time eating wild strawberries on the front step and admiring the daisies that i’d rescued from the weed-whacker.  summer rules!
