i made this little anchor for my friend leah. she’s married to a bonafide sea captain, and naturally loves all things nautical!

the chain is little tiny rings, linked while knitting with dpn’s, and then felted. (once upon a time i made a very large one for a lion costume.) you can find the pattern for a scarf-sized version on knitty. and the face fabric is the same that i used here.

i weighted the bottom with glass beads, because an anchor should be kind of heavy, right?
